Sam Williams
Director of Coaching
A Vermont native, Sam Williams brings extensive experience in the soccer world to the DOC role. Sam grew up playing for Far Post Soccer Club out of Burlington, VT, while also captaining his high school team at Thetford Academy and earning All-State honors. From there, he attended Northfield Mount Hermon School for a post-graduate year, where he won a NewEngland Class A Championship. After being recruited to Tufts University, Sam was a four-year starter at center back, and helped transform a program that had finished bottom of the conference a year before his arrival into the top team in NCAA Division III. Sam captained the Jumbos his senior season and earned NSCAA All American honors as Tufts won its first NCAA National Championship. He graduated from Tufts in 2015, with a BA in Political Science and Environmental Studies. Following his college career, Sam lived in both Boston and Vermont, exploring a career in the environmental nonprofit sector, and coaching for Far Post. After visiting Jackson in the summer of 2017, he fell in love with the Tetons, and made the move permanent in the summer of 2018. You can find Sam running around the mountains on foot, skis, or his bike, or playing with JHFC Diablos on Sunday mornings. He began working with Jackson Hole Youth Soccer in the spring of 2021 and is excited to bring his philosophy of inclusive team play to JHYS.

Isabel Cox
Director of Recreational Programming
Jackson Hole Youth Soccer is thrilled to welcome Isabel Cox as our new Director of Recreational Programming. A Greensboro, North Carolina native, Isabel brings a wealth of playing experience, leadership, and passion for the game to our community.
A standout striker at the University of North Carolina, Isabel made 110 appearances for the storied Tar Heels (the most in program history and the third-most in NCAA Division I history). During her collegiate career, she helped lead UNC to multiple ACC Championships and two national championship appearances, earning All-ACC Freshman honors and establishing herself as one of the most consistent and dynamic players in the country.
Following college, Isabel continued her soccer journey professionally, signing with Wellington Phoenix FC of Australia’s A-League Women, where she tallied 3 goals and 3 assists in her debut season. She later signed with Brooklyn FC in the USL Super League, where she made an immediate impact, scoring in the club’s inaugural match and playing a key role in their rise to the top of the standings in their first season. Isabel retired from professional soccer in early 2025 and is now pursuing her passion for youth development and community engagement.
Isabel’s extensive playing background gives her a unique perspective on player development. She’s excited to bring that experience to Jackson Hole Youth Soccer by inspiring the next generation of players, fostering a love for the game, and building a fun, inclusive recreational program for all.
